terms of service

last updated 3 November 2026

these terms are an agreement between Peach Parade Limited, a company registered in New Zealand ("we", "us"), and the organisation that adds givepeaches to its Slack workspace ("you"). by installing or using givepeaches you agree to them. if you're installing it for an organisation, you're confirming you're allowed to agree on its behalf.

what givepeaches is

givepeaches lets people in your Slack workspace thank each other with peaches, see who's been recognised, and (if you switch it on) trade the peaches they receive for rewards your organisation sets up. it includes the Prince Peach bot, the dashboard at givepeaches.com/app, and anything else we add.

plans and payment

cancelling and refunds

you can cancel any time from the dashboard (billing → manage billing). givepeaches keeps working until the end of the month you've paid for, and then you won't be charged again. we don't refund partial months, except where the law says we must. you can uninstall givepeaches from Slack whenever you like.

the rewards store

store items are offered by your organisation to its own people. peaches have no cash value and can't be exchanged for money or transferred outside your workspace. deciding what's in the store, approving requests and actually providing the rewards (time off, lunches and so on) is between your organisation and its people, not us.

using givepeaches fairly

don't use givepeaches to harass anyone, post unlawful content, break Slack's terms, try to get around plan limits or the daily peach limit, overload or attack our systems, or reverse-engineer or resell the service. we may suspend a workspace that does, and we'll tell your admins why unless the law stops us.

your content and data

your team's messages, reasons, store items and other content stay yours. you give us permission to store and process them only to provide givepeaches to you. we may use anonymous, combined usage numbers (for example, how many peaches are given across all workspaces) to improve the product. we own givepeaches itself, including the software, the name and Prince Peach.

availability and changes

we work hard to keep givepeaches running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free, and it depends on Slack and other providers we don't control. we may improve, change or remove features. if we ever shut givepeaches down, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and refund any time you've paid for but won't get.

disclaimer and liability

to the extent the law allows, givepeaches is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, or lost profits, data or goodwill. our total liability for anything related to givepeaches is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. if you're acquiring givepeaches for the purposes of a business, you agree that the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and sections 9, 12A and 13 of the Fair Trading Act 1986 don't apply, to the extent the law allows. nothing in these terms limits rights the law doesn't let us limit.

ending the agreement

you can stop using givepeaches at any time by cancelling and uninstalling it. we can end this agreement if you seriously break these terms, or with 30 days' notice for any other reason (with a refund for unused paid time). see the privacy policy for what happens to your data afterwards.

changes to these terms

if we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and tell workspace admins at least 14 days before the change takes effect. if you keep using givepeaches after that, you're agreeing to the new terms.

the law

these terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the courts of New Zealand can hear any dispute about them.
